Rolex GMT Master 16700 is the last GMT Master produced by Rolex from 1988 (serial n. R7*) to 1999, always with caliber 3175. In the same period, Rolex produced the second version of GMT Master: ref 16710.
It's the first GMT Master marketed with sapphire crystal.
